The Blended Method was specifically created to solve three major problems with the different types of hand-tied methods available.
First and foremost was the damage to the client’s hair and scalp from tension, over-direction, and haphazard installs.
Second, was client discomfort due to the contact of beads on the scalp and the common “clamp and crank” beading approach.
Third, was the complete lack of versatility and styling options that clients wearing beaded rows experienced. Exposed beads, bonds, and braids were all a woman saw when she wore her hair up.
With our patent-pending revolutionary method, Invisible Bead Extensions has said goodbye to all three of these issues and helped clients around the world do the same.
What are hand-tied extensions?
Hand-tied is a hair extension method that requires no glue, tape, or heat with minimal points of contact on your natural hair, giving less strain on your hair and scalp.
How are they installed?
I place beads through a thread on my foundation then sew on in a manner that is seamless, yet comfortable. No one will believe you have extensions until you actually show them!
Can I bring my own hair?
Unfortunately, I cannot warrant quality or its origin unless the purchase is made through me.
Can you see the extensions?
The extensions are installed in a manner where you can wear your hair in a ponytail. That’s the beauty of them! Your natural hair will cover the beads where they can be easily hidden.
How long does the hair last?
I recommend replacing hair every 6-9 months. Some people can keep theirs up to a year but it depends on how well we maintain our hair.
You can wash, blow dry, straighten, curl, or put them in any up style like natural hair! All of my extension clients receive a style/care guide, but here are a few key tips:
- Brush them morning and night, and before showers so they don’t get tangled or matted.
- You must use salon exclusive products that are paraben and sulfate free, low to zero alcohol content, and lightweight but effective. (Ask me for specific products.)
- Keep heat settings for hot tools and blow dryers on medium and use a heat protectant.
Pricing will vary depending on color, length, thickness and how many rows you will be needing.
